Wyvern was founded by Andoryuu & Kureha after inactivity of their previous bands. They searched for partners and finally fully-formed on May 6th 2007 after meeting with Mizuryuu and Toshi, then started off covering Anime soundtrack songs and works from NANA starring Mika Nakashima.
Keru joined in as guitarist on January 9th 2008. Wyvern have been covering J-rock and J-metal songs ever since, from NANA starring Mika Nakashima, the GazettE, Deathgaze, Alice Nine, etc. First performance debut was in Mama Rocker Festival 2008.
‘Wyvern’ was basically taken as a band name without any particular reason. Andoryuu suggested the name based on a game with the same title. It was later that the band knew that wyvern is a vicious two-legged dragon that doesn’t breathe out fire and isn’t very smart. Thought that their skill isn’t any special but their minds are determined, the band decided the name could fit them just well.

[LJ2ME] Happy anniversary, Wyvern! (^-^)d
Tepat tiga tahun lalu kita ngejam bareng dan Wyvern terbentuk malam harinya. waktu itu Wiwin & Keru belum bergabung, jadi kita hari ini cuma merayakan hari pertama kali Wyvern terbentuk ya.. Untuk merayakan terbentuknya Wyvern dengan formasi lengkap, yah kita tunggu tanggal 9 Januari tahun depan. Hehe..
Manis banget ya, cuma beberapa hari setelah hari anniversary ketiga, kita ada jadwal untuk (re-)recording lagu pertama dan kedua kita. Semangat ya semuanya, semoga hasilnya memuaskan dan bisa dinikmati banyak orang secara maksimal. Mudah-mudahan setelah tahun ketiga ini Wyvern tetap solid, tahan banting, saling setia dan bisa terus berkembang jadi lebih baik.
Jangan lupa rencana makan-makan kita minggu ini yah..xD hahaha..

I also still have to finish and review my 'Siren' lyric, hopefully could be done before sunday.
We have another recording session coming up on February! xDD and it was made on a sudden. right after we finished this month's recording. I'm very excited about our upcoming projects. we're going to have a new experience and i really have no idea how it's gonna be like. out of the gate and enter another. I would normally hate something like this if it wasn't with my band, lol.

Battle of Harajuku is coming. we don't have time to practice our performance but we hope everything will be ok. it's gonna be one hell of a way to have fun before the last days of 2009. I always love celebrating new year together with my band mates xD
